It was yet another day at the palace until the Magi arrived with the confounding question: “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? “ (Matthew‬ ‭2:2‬)
Herod thought he was having another bad dream; A new King? This was like whack-a-mole! The more enemies he exterminated; the more new ones arose!! 
Okay, I’m not going to get carried away, narrating my own version of Matthew 2. Let’s get back to the Magi and their question: 
“Where is the Messiah, the King of the Jews? Where is Jesus in your life? This question was the basis of today’s sermon by Rev Chuks. 
Jesus is many things to many people- believers and unbelievers alike. However, the wonderful thing about Advent and Christmastide is that we have the opportunity to focus yet again on God’s love and promises.
So what is Jesus to you? What is He going to be for you in 2020? Will you allow Him to use you through your gifts and abilities? Will you pray for wisdom, generosity, selflessness, tenacity- spiritual qualities for a fruitful year? How can you move closer to Him in 2020? Tough questions, yes. But remember: “We can do all things through Him who gives us strength.” (Philippians‬ ‭4:13‬)
